Welcome to what is now the Museum Of Ding Dong, one of the first 'pointless' sites; constructed from simple code before Broadband was commonly available and only a handful of artists saw any potential in the Web (even Tate Modern didn't have a website in those days). Who could have predicted that it would so quickly turn into a landfill site heaped with the rotting detritus of human conciousness; we here at the Club like to hope that we played some small part in it. Started before the term 'blog' was in use, the site was added to regularly and built into the sprawling mess before you, but with so many taking over where we left off, there has been little need for activity in the intervening years. For no particular reason however, you can follow Victor Mount at victormount.posterous.com, who has decided once again to begin wasting his time and everyone else's. |
